Sometimes, the trusty old whiteboard is the best tool to teach the students.

OHPs can sometimes be useful, though the amount of space to work with is super limited (and cleaning off the ink while teaching can also be messy and distracting).

Powerpoint can be a visually motivating tool, but the converse can also be true. There is a need to sacrifice a lot of time and energy just to make the presentations enjoyable and attention-maintaining. And this is not easy, because to constantly capture the students' attention, there needs to be creativity and surprises in (virtually) almost every slide.

For students creating powerpoint presentations, beware of the CP monster (the Copy Paste monster).

Video Conferencing is a very student centred type activity. Connect to a class in Finland!
