Response (Waiting Time)

Waiting time: the time span to allow students to respond after the teacher has asked them a question. It is important especially for those who want to say/ask something but just do not have the chance to if we move on too quickly. Weaker students may need time to formulate their question. Shy students may need time to pluck up the courage to ask.
